The TT and the Manx Grand Prix could not be more different than what
they are, and thats a good thing for all concerned.
While the TT has shrunk the classes to just 600 and 1000cc the Manx can boast a wide variety of machines from 125cc and 250 2-strokes to classics aswell as the usual 600 and 750 fare.
The race that we will talk about in the years to come was the Junior MGP when Craig Atkinson narrowly beat Derek Brien. Starting together on the road at No1 and 2 they duked it out swopping the lead for over 150 miles never more than a few machine lengths apart to cross the line almost neck and neck with only 0.1 seconds the difference, fantastic stuff to witness.
