Bruce Anstey made up for the
disappointment of retiring in Saturdays Superbike TT by winning a restarted
3 lap Supersport race 1.
Early pace setter Michael Dunlop was out on lap 2 stopping at Ballig, a rejuvenated Cameron Donald then lead Kiwi Anstey by a slim 4 seconds going into Glen Helen on the last lap.
The southern hemisphere battle ended a few miles further on when Aussie charger Donald was reported as stopped at Kirk Michael.
Anstey posted the fastest lap of the race for good measure to win his 8th TT ahead of practice crasher Keith Amor with Guy Martin a miraculous third who had already been into the air fencing at the Creg before the red flag had been displayed.
